The goal of the NuStart program is to bring your body fluid pH level to 7.2 - 7.4. Generally, this level is considered an ideal pH range for optimal health. Three major contributors to the accumulation of acid in the body:

a. Consuming excessive amounts of acidifying foods

During the next 7 weeks, we want to help you decrease the amount of acid forming foods you eat and increase your intake of alkalizing foods.

b. The presence of excessive microorganisms like bacteria, yeast and fungi in your body

These organisms proliferate in an acid environment. Their waste byproducts also keep their environment acidic. The New Silver Solution is a vital component of your NuStart program and has been proven to kill these harmful organisms.

c. Lack of alkaline buffering minerals that neutralize acid

The NuStart program utilizes the impressive alkalizing power of Proformance Hydration Coral Calcium to help your body reach the proper pH. Increasing your alkaline-rich treated water intake during the first four weeks of the program will add momentum to the process of balancing your pH.

Intake increases during the first four weeks and then tapers off in the final three weeks of the program. This technique is used to minimize the presence of excessive remaining toxins. As your pH becomes more alkaline, the undesirable organisms begin to die and give off toxins that can be temporarily harmful to the body. The program is designed to minimize this condition, so be sure to follow the regime as it is outlined, especially the use of the Proformance Hydration.

How important is pH?

Dr. Alexis Carrel, awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1912 for his research in organ transplants, performed an amazing experiment with chicken muscle tissue. He removed a portion of the heart muscle and placed it in a dish, attempting to duplicate the chicken’s body fluid. Usually the tissue would remain alive for a few days and Dr. Carrel observed that the fluid became more acid the longer the tissue remained in the dish. He decided to change the fluid every day, keeping it bathed in an alkaline solution. Amazingly, the cells remained alive and healthy for 28 years and did not age!

Because of this experiment, Dr. Carrel stated, “The cell is immortal. It is merely the fluid in which it floats which degenerates. Renew this fluid at intervals, give the cells what they require for nutrition and as far as we know the pulsation of life may go on forever.”

2. Helping your body expel toxins.

Many of us have spent 30 or more years putting toxins into our bodies through the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe. Even when you fill your car with gas at the self-service gas pump, you breathe more benzene into your body in one minute than your ancestors breathed in an entire lifetime. Poisonous chemicals are stored in the liver and fat tissue and the NuStart program will help remove this lifetime accumulation of unwanted toxins.

Your body uses seven channels to eliminate toxins. The colon, kidneys, skin, lungs and liver are primary channels while the blood and lymphatic systems are secondary. This program will increase toxic elimination through all seven channels.

Maintain a healthy diet that includes the following:

Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables (preferably organic).

Eat more alkalizing foods and less acidic foods. A diet of 80% alkalizing foods and 20% acid forming foods would be ideal.

Alkalizing – all vegetables, citrus fruits, sour pickles, beans and legumes, raisins, fresh butter, fresh cheese, fresh buttermilk, milk, yogurt, apple vinegar, cold pressed olive oil, salt, Stevia

Acidifying – all meats (including chicken, turkey, beef, pork, lamb, shrimp, lobster, organ meats), eggs, artificial sweeteners, sugar, canned and processed foods, hydrogenated oils, ketchup, lard, margarine, mayonnaise, mushrooms, mustard, sweet pickles, soft drinks, liquor, wine, beer.)

• Cook with olive or peanut oil.
• Get plenty of sunshine, exposing as much skin as possible for 20 minutes a day. Avoid wearing glasses for 10 of those minutes.
• Walk for 20 minutes a day if possible.
• Drink plenty of water! Drink a minimum of eight to ten 8 ounce glasses of water a day (2 quarts) treated with O2!
• Do not use hydrogenated oils.
• Do not use canola, corn, or soy oil.
• Reduce sugar and white flour intake.
• Try to eliminate corn syrup altogether.
• Keep coffee consumption down to two cups or less per day.
• Do not drink any alcohol.
• Avoid artificial sweeteners. If you do need to use sweetener, use Stevia, available at most health food stores.
• Do not drink any soft drinks (including diet soft drinks).

Other programs like NuStart attempt to balance the body’s pH through diet alone. Although this is possible, it is very difficult because our food often lacks the minerals and trace metals we need. What sets the NuStart program apart is the incredible alkalizing power of the .

We still want to encourage you to also benefit from a diet that consists of more alkaline foods and less acid forming foods. Diets that are 80% alkaline are ideal. For example, a meal consisting of 2-4 ounces of beef (very acidifying) could be balanced with a salad, a potato and a serving of green beans.
